The exclusive core business is the production of technical gemstones made fram agate.

1948

Change of name in Friedrich Schütz und Söhne
Albert and Emil Schütz join their father's business.

1960

Change of name in Albert Schütz
Emil Schütz withdraws and founds own company.
Adjacent barn rebuilt for expansion of company.

1964

Company Albert Schütz broadens its processing spectrum
Apart from agate stones, various other gemstones are processed.

1970

The existing company building at Tiefensteiner Straße 15 is extended.
The capacities of the grinding departement and the administration are expanded.

1974

Change of name in Albert Schütz OHG

1976

The product portfolio grows.
For the first time dials and crown-gemstones for the swiss watch-industry are produced.

1979

Change of name in Albert Schütz, owner Hans Schütz

1985

By fortunate coincidence the product range can be extended to include the production of blanks out of optical glass.
Many new customers can be won over.

1996

The production capabilities have reached their limits by now.
Therefore a new production building is built at Tiefensteiner Straße 17.

1999

Change of name in Albert Schütz GmbH.
Hans and Elke Schütz, Simone Schneider, as well as Armin and Silke Stumm become partners.

2000

The quality management system according to DIN ISO 9001 : 2000 is established.

2002

Governing District Administrator Wolfgang Hey visits Albert Schütz GmbH.

2008

A new extension of the production areas at Flurstraße 6.

2010

Aquisition of the first 5-axis ultrasonic milling-machine.

2015

Again the limits of the capacities are reached.
In August the construction of a new building at Tiefensteiner Straße 30 started. Completion date will be in October 2016.

2016

Move to the new production building
In October the production starts with 6 machines.

2017

Expansion and modernization of machine capacities
Aquisition of another 5-axis ultrasonic milling and a centerless grinding machine. Various drilling and sawing machines are being modernized.
